the work welcomes you into a post-apocalyptic garden

(unearthed from the rubble emerges traces of an enchanted garden)

Fountains spit,,,&sputter with radioactive water

polluted or transformed by some e n c h a n t m e n t

the refuse shows a person recently departed

a pair of shoes tip toeing,,,,a pile of bobby pins left behind.

The plants growing in this garden have buds made of stone

(fossilized and unable to bloom)

this exhibition looks at the reinsertion of ‘nature’ into urban environments & the commercial productions of nature/the crushed stone that has been mined in a quarry, sorted, processed, packaged and shipped into the city to be placed around a tree in a parking lot for decoration
